Garden Maintenance- mulching, weeding; winterizing; design consultation; pest and disease identification and control: using least toxic methods, with an eye for ecological balance.
Pruning- small trees, fruit trees, ornamentals.
Hauling- debris, soil, rock.
Installations- rockeries; retaining walls; patios; rain barrels; arbors; amendments for soil health; plants and planting; I work with designs from landscape architects and designers, as well as working with you to create the vision that we can manifest together.
Focusing on sustainable landscape management methods on a residential level, I work to integrate our human lives with the interrelationships of the plant and animal worlds. I’m looking to create and encourage balanced plant and wildlife communities in such a way that you feel your connection within those communities. I look for high quality materials, as well as opportunities for recycling; such as using rubble concrete which make excellent retaining walls and patios. I focus on the principles of placing the right plant in the right place, where it will thrive maximally with the minimal care.
